Dr. Tommiska is a geneticist with a background in breast cancer genetics and disease gene identification. She is now focused on studying genetic defects of sexual maturation. Her current research projects include: 1) genetics of delayed and absent puberty, and 2) genetics of disorders of sex development (DSD).
