Taneli Raivio is a translational researcher focusing on the mechanisms of human puberty. His research activities include molecular genetics of congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (CHH) and constitutional delay of growth and puberty, disease modeling of CHH and gonadal development with human embryonic and patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells, and clinical trials elucidating mechanisms regulating puberty.
He is a pediatric endocrinologist.
