Olivier Kah is interested in the evolution of the GnRH systems in metazoa. His work has largely contributed to the current status of knowledge regarding the organization and development of the GnRH systems in teleost fishes. This research has also contributed to show that the GnRH system is highly conserved among vertebrates and that small fish models such as zebrafish or medaka can be useful to study the development and regulation of GnRH neurons.
