Dr. Herbison's research centers upon understanding the molecular and cellular properties of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons that control mammalian reproduction. His investigations use a multidisciplinary approach employing molecular, cellular and whole animal analyses in predominantly transgenic mouse models.
