Professor Ghervan is a researcher focused on the neuroendocrine control of human reproduction. Her investigative approach is collaborative and multidisciplinary, spanning the fields of human genetics and molecular biology. Her research interest include congenital combined pituitary hormone deficiency (CPHD) and isolated hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH). She discovered the patients harboring the first mutation of the GNRH1 gene.
Her clinical practice covers the spectrum of adult and pediatric endocrinology, including diagnosis and treatment of hypogonadism in both sexes.
