Professor Popovic is a clinical researcher focused on the neuroendocrine control (hypothalamic-pituitary axis dysfunction) in humans, energy homeostasis and reproduction, novel approaches in the regulation of GH secretion, and treatment of GH deficient patients with novel long-acting GH molecules. Her investigative approach is collaborative and multidisciplinary. Professor Popovic has published in leading scientific journals.
Her clinical practice covers the spectrum of neuroendocrine diseases such as hypothalamic amenorrhoea, central hypogonadism, pituitary tumors (acromegaly, prolactinomas, Cushing's syndrome and non functioning pituitary tumors), hypopituitarism (congenital, acquired in particular hypopituitarism after traumatic brain injury). She has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of hypopituitary patients including GH replacement and fertility in young hypopituitary patients.
