Research Interests

Dr. Formosa's interests focus mainly on the discovery of mechanisms that drive the formation and progression of tumours and cancers, focusing mainly on tumours of endocrine origin. Our recent interest has focused on the functional analysis of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor-interacting protein, mutations of which have been found to be associated with familial cases of pituitary tumours.
