Research Interests

Our group is conducting first-to-human studies investigating the physiological effects of the hypothalamic neuropeptides kisspeptin and neurokinin B on reproductive function. We are also conducting a Phase 2 trial investigating whether exogenous kisspeptin can trigger oocyte maturation during in vitro fertilisation. These translational studies may help to identify mechanisms of infertility associated with GnRH deficiency, and lead to novel therapeutic approaches for affected patients.
