Research interests
My research focuses on the influence of physical activity and sedentary behaviours on health of individuals. Such knowledge has the potential to inform governments, schools, communities and individuals on how to develop and/or improve strategies in physical activity and health promotion.

Biography
Originally, from Algeria, Dr. Amar Arhab completed his undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at McGill University in Canada. Between 2011 and 2013, Dr. Arhab completed his Maters in Sports science at the University of Lausanne and Geneva. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Arhab specialized in the field of Physical activity and metabolic health. He is currently working at the Lausanne University Hospital as a scientific collaborator. He has authored (and coauthored) over 20 scientific articles.
