SIS+

Design: Observational study
Status: Recruitment completed - Study in progress
Study duration per participant: A single visit lasting around an hour
Target group: Volunteers in good general health aged 18 to 80

Study Title: «Immune Setpoint in a healthy population population - Plus (SIS+).»

Relying on state-of-the-art technological platforms that enable in-depth immunological analysis, this project aims to identify the variability of immune system component values (e.g. white blood cells) in a group of healthy individuals.

Determining baseline values of immune system variables will have a major impact on our understanding of the causes of immune system disease, response to treatment, vaccination and ultimately, point to effective ways of maintaining and restoring health.

During the visit, a blood sample will be taken (total volume 7.6ml), as well as a urine pregnancy test for women of childbearing potential, vital signs taken and a medical history collected to guarantee the participants "healthy" status.
