Jean-Michel Pignat

Dr JM Pignat holds an FMH qualification as a specialist in neurology and has been a senior doctor in our department since 2016.

Dr JM Pignat specialises in the assessment and treatment of cognitive and behavioural disorders following brain damage of multiple origins (stroke, brain trauma, inflammation of the brain). Its expertise particularly covers cognitive and behavioural difficulties that have an impact on returning to work. Treatment can also be provided in German or English.

Dr JM Pignat also teaches at the University of Lausanne and in the Hautes Écoles Spécialisées. On the scientific front, his research projects focus on the anatomo-clinical links between cognitive disorders, with a particular interest in changes in neuronal networks.
