Etienne Sallard obtained a master’s degree in Adapted Physical Education at the University of Burgundy (France) and a PhD in Sport Sciences and Physical Education from the University of Lausanne. He is interested in understanding cognitive mechanisms that can be targeted by novel treatments. His expertise are neuroimaging (EEG) and non-invasive brain stimulation (TMS and tES). Etienne joined the NeuroScape@neurotech lab in November 2022 as a post-doctoral fellow and coordinates several projects investigating new technological approaches such as serious video games. He implements adaptive serious video games in the screening and neurorehabilitation of patients with cognitive deficits.
