Background

Matteo Girondini holds a psychology master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Padua (Italy) and two specialization programs in Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology (University of Verona) and Biofeedback and Neurofeedback (Italian Institute of neurofeedback). Matteo is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Milano-Bicocca, spending his visiting period at Myspace lab in Losanna (CHUV hospital).

His research domain included the study of neural and behavioral mechanisms of sensorimotor integration. For this, he employed experimental psychology, psychophysics, neurostimulation (TMS), physiological and neurophysiological measurement (Skin conductance, Heart rate variability, electroencephalography), and virtual reality. Matteo has investigated public speaking anxiety and addiction craving exposures using virtual reality in previous research lines.
