The Leenaards Memory Centre - CHUV is part of the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, which Professor Philippe Ryvlin ensures the direction.
This department oversees the Services of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Neuropsychology and Neurorehabilitation. It also has a Neuroscience Research Center, a transversal dedicated unit for acute neurorehabilitation, a Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Neurotherapy and a Gamma Knife.
It enjoys a unique academic environment. Close collaborations established with clinical researchers in other areas of CHUV and other research institutions in the Lausanne area, such as with the University of Lausanne and the Brain Mind Institute at EPFL in particular, allow us to deal with diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and epilepsy in the most efficient way possible.
