Gianluca Corsanici

My research revolves around the synthesis, design and characterization of novel radiotracers targeting macrophages within the tumour microenvironment. Macrophages present unique opportunity for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in cancer. My goal is to develop target molecules with enhanced specificity and efficacy for tumour imaging. In vivo and in vitro experiments will be performed to evaluate their potential and identify promising candidates for further clinical investigation.
