Dr Sandrine Cuénoud

Dr Sandrine Cuénoud qualified as a doctor at the University of Geneva in 2013 and began her postgraduate training in the surgery department of Valais Romand Hospital for a year, before specialising in gynaecology and obstetrics. She then spent a further year at Valais Romand Hospital, before moving to the Frauenklinik Stadtspital Triemli in Zurich for three years. She returned to Valais Hospital, initially as a junior doctor, before being promoted to head clinician in 2019.

Dr Cuénoud was accredited as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics by the Swiss Medical Association (FMH) in 2020.

She joined our unit at CHUV in 2021 to pursue her desire to specialise in reproductive medicine and gynaecological endocrinology.

Dr Cuénoud has a particular interest in multidisciplinary care for couples receiving medically assisted reproduction treatments, and in the preservation of fertility.
