Background

Eugénie Demeure holds a Master's degree in Robotics Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and a specialization in Medical Robotics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). She has acquired expertise in virtual reality as well as in the analysis of biosignals and biomedical imaging during her previous research projects. Her master's thesis focused on the development of video games and a rehabilitation application for the autonomyo exoskeleton and won the "NCCR Robotics MSc Thesis Award".

In 2023, Eugénie joined our department at CHUV as a designer and developer within the MySpace and Neuroscape research teams. She works on an Innosuisse project for which she designs and develops video games for the rehabilitation of neurological patients using an exoskeleton, with a 9-month clinical trial.
