How to prepare for a movement examination

In order for the exam to run smoothly, it is very important that participants come with the outfit and materials indicated in their convocation letter. Please pay particular attention to these points, as the exam might need to be rescheduled otherwise. Most types of examination require participants to wear tight, short clothes. Participants are requested to restrain applying lotion on their skin the day of the test, to facilitate the attachment of sensors on the body segments. Finally, participants are encouraged to avoid exercising during the 24 hours preceding the exam, unless specifically indicated in the convocation letter.

The exam will take place at the Swiss BioMotion Lab which is located in the “Hôpital Orthopédique” building (Av. Pierre-Decker 4, CH-1011 Lausanne). Before coming to the lab, participants are requested to register at the front desk on the main floor.
