Manuel Diezi

Dr Med Manuel Diezi is a consultant pediatric oncologist and clinical pharmacologist trained in Lausanne, Switzerland and Toronto, Canada. He is mainly involved in the care of pediatric patients with solid tumors and in particular brain tumors. He is the local principal investigator of several national and international trials and the local representative of the ITCC (Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer) international consortium.

His research interests are focused on long term neurological and neuropsychological outcomes and means to detect and improve them in order to allow an optimal reintegration whenever possible.

Dr Diezi and his colleagues from the pediatric hemato-oncology unit of the CHUV work in close collaboration with their adult counterparts from the adult neuro-oncology, neurosurgery and radiation therapy services to treat pediatric patient diagnosed with brain tumors.
